Huff and Puff you won't blow this House Down

Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

The Lord is my Rock and my fortress, my deliverer, in whom I shall trust.  I cannot say that enough and my feeble attempts to glorify the God of my salvation fall miserably short.

My Rock:  He is immovable and unshakable.  He has weathered all criticism and every storm that sinful man has thrown His way.  He is Faithful even when we are not and His Word is true forever.  In Him His promises are yes and amen and there is no shadow of turning within Him. 

My Fortress:  My safety and shelter in whom I shall abide.  His ramparts have never been breached and the enemy cannot approach the gate.  I am safely encamped within the walls of faith established by my Father.

My Deliverer:  The one who pulled me from the furnace and  plucks from the enemy's snare.  He has delivered me from this body of death and sin's dark hold.

My Shield:  My Protector.  My defense in the face of the onslaught which befalls me.   Even though the fiery darts of the evil one pierce the darkness and seek to take my life the Shield will never fail nor falter.

My Salvation:  The Author and Finisher of my Faith.  The One who has  and will continually save from the snares of this world and the iniquity within me. The  Holy One who paid the price and called me His. He called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light saving me from my just reward.

My Stronghold:  The Perfect One.  My defense.  Though the winds may gust and the waves buffet He will stand forever.  The enemy cannot enter and the thief cannot steal.  

 My God is Great and Awesome and greatly to be praised.  He is to be worshipped in Spirit and truth and glorified forever. 

Do you have a refuge from the storm?  Are the god(s) in your life comparable to the Great and Everlasting Creator of the Universe?  Call upon Him and enter into His rest
