I like that guilt article. I was raised by parents that used guilt and religion like a baseball bat. Trying to find my way now. Sometimes I feel like it is too late though.

Hey Stephen, really glad you stopped by and read my friend's post. It really is tough when people, especially those close to us, misuse religion in a controlling and/or abusive manner. I would earnestly ask you to seek Him today while He may be found regardless of your past experiences.

Worldly guilt has nothing to do with the Godly sorrow that leads to repentance and a true saving faith in Jesus Christ. Pray to Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Dive into His Word without any preconceived ideas and let the Word be a lamp to your feet and a light for your path as you try to find your own way.

I don't know how familiar you are with the Bible but I would encourage you to read the Gospel of John and let God speak to you through it.

Peace and if you have any question ( If I cannot answer them I will find someone who can )feel free to ask.
